Case study one

This study was created from a spare bedroom and specifically designed to accommodate the equipment and needs of a leading photographer. The brief specified the need for a shallow drawer to hold the computer keyboard and a sliding section at the lower level of the cupboard to allow easy access to the printer.

Top left and right: By placing the keyboard and printer off the surface of the desk the photographer was able to use this area for notes and other paperwork.

Below left: Floating shelves arranged above the cupboard mean that all storage is contained in one area, leaving the majority of the wall free for the screen.

Below: the desk top has a graceful curve and the drawer handle is recessed into the base so that the line of the front of the desk is completely smooth.
