Linear design
This open plan mews house kitchen follows a linear scheme that sees the kitchen units blend seamlessly into floor to ceiling storage in the living area. Domus designed and constructed the cupboards to harmonize the different functions of the room and to emphasise the feeling of space and openness.
Above left: The figured walnut end panel on the kitchen unit and wooden flooring add warmth to the otherwise, cool white wall cupboards; it also absorbs sound which is useful in
an open plan room. Above: The kitchen cupboards and living area storage have been integrated to create a seamless flow between the two areas. The living area cupboards also
incorporate a fold down desk and home office.
